
Letitia Mouzon, MSW, LCSWA - Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, Therapist
Letitia Walker Mouzon earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Winthrop University in 1987. She received her Masters of Social Work degree in May 2016 from Winthrop University, and received her Provisional License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in the State of North Carolina. Prior to coming to Soul Care Christian Counseling, she worked as a social worker for 26 years with Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region. She provided counseling and case management support as well as crisis intervention services to individuals facing end- of- life. Her experience extends to working with women and children using interventions in the form of art and play. She has experience in working with individuals facing grief and loss and has experience in facilitating grief groups. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Social Work. In her scope of practice, she utilizes meditative interventions such as mindfulness and deep breathing when working with individuals experiencing stress, depression and anxiety. Her therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and brief therapy.
Letitia's faith is grounded in her belief in God, and she believes that we are all called to serve causes greater than our own.
