
Danae Rhoads, MA, MFT Resident Intern – Therapist
Danae Rhoads joined Soul Care in August of 2020. She is pursuing her graduate degree in marriage and family therapy from Abilene Christian University. Danae has lived in the north Charlotte area, near Concord, since grade school. Prior she lived in Greenville, SC and Abilene, TX.
She attended Appalachian State University for her undergraduate degree in secondary math education. Upon graduation, Danae taught and coached with a local school system for almost five years in a high school math classroom.
Danae is passionate about her Christian faith and relationship with the Lord but loves to work with clients from all walks of life. She believes clients can achieve wholeness in their lives by cultivating peace in their relationships as well as with themselves. Counseling can be a pivotal piece in learning about oneself, healing from trauma, and finding strategies to benefit the individual and their community for abundant living.
When Danae is not working or studying, she enjoys playing tennis, reading mystery novels, nature walks, and watching Bones or Masterchef with her fiancé, Zach.
Danae is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
