Henretta (pronounced Henrietta) Jackson, D.Min., LMFTA
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
I believe every person’s life and relationships are part of a God-designed story — and it’s never too late for that story to be restored.
I’m Henretta, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a heart for helping people move from brokenness to wholeness to holiness. My passion for this work comes from my own life journey, my deep faith, and a calling to see people flourish in the way God originally intended.
I earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and am practicing under the clinical supervision of Dr. Byron Coley, LMFT (#1810), as required by the North Carolina Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board.
I approach counseling from a Creation perspective, which means I look at life and relationships through the lens of God’s original design — safety, partnership, fruitfulness, and His presence — and then work together to restore those qualities. My style is warm, collaborative, and faith-integrated, blending Scripture and prayer with evidence-based therapy approaches like Narrative Therapy, CBT, Emotional Regulation, and Family Systems Theory.
In our sessions, you’ll find a safe and welcoming space to explore your story, gain new insights, and take steps toward lasting transformation. Whether you’re seeking personal growth, navigating challenges, or longing for deeper connection, my hope is that you leave with greater peace, clarity, and confidence in the unique way God has created you.
Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time with my husband, studying Scripture, and creating resources that connect biblical truth with practical tools for everyday life.
