James "Jim" DeSart, MA, LPCA - Therapist - Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Jim DeSart is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who grew up on a farm in Northern California, and studied at the University of Mississippi and Liberty University. Jim is passionate about helping people learn to live in the present moment as Sons and Daughters of the Living God. He believes that everyone was created by God to live a healthy, and holy life in Christ...and there's no situation that God can't heal.
Jim is especially passionate about Men's Ministries and had been involved in Men's discipleship programs at his church for many years. He also enjoys working with the homeless and prisoners. When he's not working with clients he enjoys being out in Creation, fishing, and just listening to God in quiet places.
His favorite Bible verse is Luke chapter 4:18-19 where Jesus quotes Isaiah about the Year of the Lord's favor.
Favorite Scripture: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”...Luke 4:18-19
