William Darrisaw, MS, NCC, LPC Pastor - Therapist
William Darrisaw joined Soul Care in 2015. He is a Pastor, Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of NC. He is currently pursuing licensure in North and South Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman University and a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling (MHC) from Capella University. Mr. Darrisaw is a native of Vero Beach, Florida. He was licensed and ordained into the Gospel Ministry in 1996 and retired as a financial services professional from General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) in 2007.
Mr. Darrisaw’s professional experiences and over 15 years of Pastoral experience include providing Christian based counseling to help clients with issues of depression, marital and family issues, ADHD, PTSD, anger management, grief/loss, suicidal ideation, and life coaching.
His therapeutic approach is eclectic and includes Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Rational Emotive Brief Therapy (REBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Mr. Darrisaw is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC). He and his wife have been in the Charlotte, NC area for 10 years and they reside in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
